The Child’s Mutiny

I have no crimes,
Against my name,
Only poverty and hunger
My constant friends
Mutiny in my mind
Never escapes,
Too little I am,
To carry out,
Those plans
Inside me, the lurking pain
Mutiny in my mind

Everywhere you will find
The ruins of childhood
My soul and my existence
Abused and tortured,
Enslaved to departed screams
I have no crimes,
Against my name
Only the victim of my age
And innocence, the gift
Endowed upon by nature
And now you play with it

In your progression and civilisation
Find you will, from Africa to Indus
My suffering remains unseen
To your ears and eyes and ways
Simply the flashes of light and thunder
In the distance, warnings,
Take heed Oh people,
Poverty and hunger will find you
One day, if I escaped
From mutiny of my mind
Unleash I will, hell upon you
For what you did, payback time

I have no crimes,
Against my name,
Only poverty and hunger
My constant friends
Mutiny in my mind
Never escapes,
Too little I am,
To carry out,
Those plans
Inside me, the lurking pain
Mutiny in my mind!
