Few Seconds

Few Seconds...

in few seconds,
lives,
changed forever
ours who still remain
and our soul,
no longer with us
splintered,
An arrow
struck
in our hearts
as years will remain
of golden boy
growing up,
as peace will never return
in our lives
the burden too heavy
to carry for our old souls,
of what remains
the memory and its gardens
as we float
from our days to nights
the smiles, frozen
eternally,
the wound too deep
our fabric broken,
the flute and its echoes
gone, in few seconds
